ASOF projects funded by EC under Framework Programme 5 (FP5).

In Mid-October 2001, three-part ASOF-EC cluster bid (see map) were submitted to EC FP-5 under the Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development Programme. By end of February 2002, EC Programme Comittee confirmed the funding for each element of the ASOF Cluster in EC FP-5. The following ASOF-EC projects started in December 2002 and will be funded till November 2005:

ASOF-EC (W) to cover exchanges through Denmark Strait
ASOF- EC (N) to cover Fram Strait-Barents Sea
ASOF-EC (E) or MOEN to cover Faroe-Shetland Channel
